We travelled by luxurious motorcoach through one of the most densely populated cities in the cradle of civilization. We gazed in awe at the massive wonders of the Great Pyramids of Giza, and made tentative climbs on the ancient and weatherbeaten stones. Later, we enjoyed a private tour to the enigmatic Sphinx and Cairo Museum of Antiquities, housing the complete collection of King Tutankhamen's tomb, and well over 160,000 other ancient relics before shopping the Khan el Khalili bazaar.

We also took a tour through the ancient capital of Memphis, with the ruined pillars of Ramses II. All of this and more accompanied by luxurious accommodations and private tours enjoyed at a leisurely pace.
